Helga's Testimony

I saw this post on CCFM Rise and Shine Facebook page and it was such an inspiration.

Good Morning! Welcome to Wednesday! Who are you trying to kid? I remember 34 years ago, fooling myself into believing I was a Christian. I even told someone I was! I may have fooled him, but I couldn't fool God. He knew I didn't know Him. I know I knew too and I felt pretty convicted about it. I thought about phoning the person I'd told that I was a Christian to tell him I'd lied, but I was too proud to do that. I thought about pretending the conversation had never happened, but that would have been just another lie. In the end, I decided to make my answer 'right'. So on 17th July 1979, 34 years ago today, in the quietness of my bedroom, I prayed & asked Jesus to come into my heart and take over my life. He did! I chose LIFE. Everything changed for me. Jesus says, "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." John 6:40 - Look on the Son today! Choose Life! God bless you loads! In His Grip, Helga ♥
